The hospitality sector is one of the fastest-growing sectors in Africa, and plays a central role in Africa’s economic growth and job creation. Yet, persons with disabilities remain significantly underrepresented in this sector due to systemic barriers such as inaccessible work environments, limited training pipelines, stigma, and a lack of inclusive workplace policies. As the industry undergoes rapid transformation driven by digitisation, changing consumer expectations, and evolving service models, new opportunities are emerging for inclusive employment.
This session brings together senior leaders from leading hospitality brands to explore how organisations can create meaningful, sustainable, and future-ready job pathways for persons with disabilities. The panel will examine innovative recruitment practices, workplace accessibility, employee development strategies, and the role of leadership commitment in shaping the future of inclusive hospitality in Nigeria.
