About This Session

Across Nigeria, many individuals, especially marginalised groups such as persons with disabilities, low-income families, and those with mental health needs, face significant challenges in accessing quality healthcare. These barriers range from physical inaccessibility in facilities to gaps in health financing, poor integration of mental health into primary care, digital exclusion, and limited community-based support systems.
This breakout session brings together experts from health financing, disability inclusion, mental health, education, and development sectors to examine how Nigeria can build health systems that are more people-centred, inclusive, and resilient.
